Remember and recall
Goal: remember what users tell your agent about themselves, and later recall it for the right user only.
You need Taisce running, plus TAISCE_URL, TOKEN and the Python client from

1. Save what Maya said
A turn is one exchange: the messages, in order, each with the role of who said it.
data_subject_id says whose turn it is. It is any string your application chooses, such as your own
user id, and it is how "I" in Maya's message comes to mean Maya.

You should see a receipt, with HTTP status 201:

The turn is stored, and log_offset is its place in the project's log. The idempotency_key makes a
retry safe: send the same key with the same body again and you get the same receipt back, not a
second turn. Make one key per turn and keep it until the write succeeds.
2. Save what Tom said, and wait
Tom uses the same agent, so his turn goes to the same project under his own subject. Keep his offset: once it has formed, so has everything before it.

When the loop returns, a background worker has read both turns and pulled out the facts they contain.
Didn't work? If the loop never returns, see formed stays null.

The question names nothing, and that is fine. With data_subject_id, recall starts at Maya herself
and uses only facts from Maya's turns, so Tom's aisle seat never appears. The assistant's "Noted"
adds nothing: by default, recall returns only facts taken from user messages.

5. Ask without a subject

Without a subject, recall covers the whole project and starts from the names in the question. "I" is
not a name, so it matches nobody, rather than everybody. named_nothing_known: true tells you that
the question named nothing Taisce knows, which is different from "known, but nothing to say".
6. Put the memories in your prompt
Recall gives you facts. Hand them to your model as one message, and tell the model they are information rather than instructions, because they are words somebody else wrote:

Do not send this message back to Taisce as part of the next turn: it is memory, not something the user said. The adapters do all of this for you on every turn.
data_subject_id is a label, not a login. Anyone holding the project token can ask about any
subject in the project. If two users must never see each other's memory, put them in separate
projects.
What next
- Show users where an answer came from: answer with evidence.
- Delete one user's memory: forget a person.
- Every recall option, including two-hop questions and time travel: asking a question.
- Let your framework do this on every turn: the Python adapter.
